About Small Talk Salon

Katharine Healy has been in the salon industry for over twelve years. First as an assistant and salon manager for her sister’s salon in West Hartford and then, after her own certification, for the past 9 years as a stylist and salon manager in New Haven. Katharine loves the people she meets and the constant changes within the industry. Katharine’s goal in establishing Small Talk Salon is to create a welcoming intimate and relaxing environment for highly trained stylists to bring out the best in each and every client.

Since opening in 2014 Small Talk has grown from just Katharine to a staff of five of stylists. Their certifications include: Klix & Balmain extentions, Trissola Keratin, Arrojo American Wave, and countless advanced coloring technique classes with Schwarzkopf, Goldwell, and Lakme color lines.

The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, See our full list of services and be sure to take advantage of all monthly specials. (New clients always receive 10% off their first visit.)
