Katharine Healy has been in the salon industry for over twelve years.
First as an assistant and salon manager for her sister’s salon in West Hartford and then, after her own certification, for the past 9 years as a stylist and salon manager in New Haven. Katharine loves the people she meets and the constant changes within the industry. The evolution of trends and technologies in the beauty industry drives Katharine’s desire to continuously attend classes and seminars and bring that knowledge to her clients.
Her certifications include: Klix & Balmain extentions, Trissola Keratin, Arrojo American Wave, Advanced Masters Haircutting Course with celebrity stylist Nick Arrojo, and countless advanced coloring technique classes with Schwarzkopf, Goldwell, and Lakme color lines.
Katharine’s goal in establishing Small Talk Salon is to create a welcoming intimate, and relaxing environment for highly trained stylists to bring out the best in each and every client.
